What You’ll Do

As a Production Team Member at Poison Graphics, you will contribute to the fabrication and assembly of our sign products.

A production team member is a professional responsible for creating high-quality signs based on customer requirements and design specifications. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the production process runs smoothly, meets all quality standards, and results in products that satisfy our customers’ expectations.

The production team member collaborates with various departments, including design, sales, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to fulfilling customer orders. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Ultimately, the production specialist’s goal is to ensure that all signs are produced accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.

    Assisting in the packing and shipping of finished products.

    Use a prescribed layout to apply computer-cut vinyl or printed graphic images onto specific materials or surfaces.

    Prepare the surfaces for vinyl application by tasks such as cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and upkeep.

    Carefully remove unnecessary vinyl. Techniques might differ based on the design’s size, vinyl type, and intricacy.

    Efficiently operate and take care of production equipment.

    Ensure top-notch quality by meticulously reviewing work orders before and after production, and spotting any discrepancies or imperfections.

    Carry out post-print tasks like laminating, encapsulating, or mounting the graphics.

    When required, install graphics at client sites or other designated places.

    Engage with colleagues and customers in a respectful and professional tone.

    Monitor and report inventory status, notifying management or relevant personnel when restocking is needed.

    Assist in receiving and organizing raw materials, ensuring a tidy and efficient storage space.

    Handle multiple projects with keen attention to detail and timing.

    Undertake routine maintenance of machines and conduct minor fixes as needed.

    Act as a supporting hand for the graphic designer when required.

    Remain compliant with all organizational guidelines, practices, and ethical codes.

    Step in to answer the phone or assist at the front desk when primary personnel are occupied.

    Familiarize yourself with the sales process to consult and advise customers on their project requirements and solutions.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

    Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling tools.

    Capability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
